Staff Session: Stress Resilience, You Get To Breathe, Too
Prioritizing well-being for those dedicated to supporting people living with lung disease.
I presented a customized workshop for the American Lung Association staff titled: Stress Resilence: "You Get to Breathe Too," focusing on stress management, resilience, and mindful movement.
Key elements of the workshop included:
- Breathing techniques: Practices to enhance respiratory awareness, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. 
- Mindful movement: Gentle exercises and stretches to improve posture, release tension, and increase energy. 
- Stress management strategies: Tools and techniques for managing workplace stress and preventing burnout. 
- Self-care education: Guidance on prioritizing well-being and cultivating a healthy work-life balance.
